Are You Lost? Creative Walk and Conversations on Bowland

Events

Are you curious about the Forest of Bowland?
Do you spend time outdoors?
What gets in the way of you being in nature?

Join Bowland-born artist Rob St John, under the gaze of Pendle Hill in East Lancashire, for a gentle, circular walk and lively conversation about Land and Access in the Forest of Bowland.

Rob will be joined by Forest of Bowland National Landscape’s Cathy Hopley and radical historian Nick Burton to provide fascinating insights into the history, geography and stories of this beautiful location.

Meet at Barley Village Hall (BB12 9JU) at 1pm for a circular walk to Clarion House and back for conversation and creative activities from 3-4pm. There is a regular bus service from Burnley to Barley for those wishing to travel by public transport.

Rob is working with Lancaster Arts to offer events like this over Spring 2025, as part of the national project, Nature Calling, contributing to a series of film, textile and sound art installations across the Forest of Bowland in the summer of 2025.

Book your free ticket above or contact areyoulost@lancasterarts.org if you have any questions.
