The workshop offers an insight into strategies and methodologies employed by GOB SQUAD when creating new work.
The workshop will explore the company's approach to using text, video and site in creating touching, humorous and confessional performance works which mix reality with fiction.
GOB SQUAD will introduce methods and processes involved in two of their recent shows (Western Society and Dancing About) as well as exploring strategies used in the making of their new show, War and Peace.
Participants will combine video, text, performance and improvisational structures in order to develop material around the personal, the autobiographical and the political.
