Award winning choreographer/composer Hofesh Shechter presents deGENERATION a gripping triple bill of exhilarating physicality and nuanced drama.
The programme includes: Fragments, a delicate, intense duet and Cult, a work for 6 dancers that takes a dark, ironic view of the forces that steer society and ourselves. Cult was the winner of the Audience Award at the prestigious Place Prize (2004).
Finally, seven men are pushed to the limit in a wild drive of hope amidst the shadow of despair in Shechter's powerful work, Uprising. Commissioned by the Robin Howard Foundation, this engaging and complex piece has a powerful soundtrack that leaves audiences on the edge of their seats.
