Our very own star-studded Orchestra in Residence shows its youthful spirit with this night of music celebrating young musicians.
All of the works featured in this eclectic programme were written by composers in their teens or early 20s, including the hotly-anticipated premiere of a work by Tom Harrold, our Young Composer in Residence.
We're also delighted to welcome BBC Young Musician of the Year finalist, Callum Smart (pictured). This talented young violinist won the string final of the 2010 competition at the tender age of 13, and is now creating a stir at home and abroad as he develops his "mature" voice at just 15 years old.
