Lancaster Offshoots’ Neverland is a devised ensemble piece created by nine performers who have drawn upon their own personal experiences and thoughts to form a performance about getting older, wiser and more terrified of mortality.
The characters lament the loss of childhood as they recount their dreams, each one becoming successively darker as they desperately warp them to try to find connections for a purpose that isn’t quite clear. The personal intimacy of the material that has formed this piece makes for the Offshoots most original, honest and poignant play yet.
Unfortunately this event is excluded from Live at LICA promotional and Supporter rates.
