Artist Leo Burtin is currently in the research and development stage of making his new performance piece The Midnight Soup. In the piece, Leo will explore the complexities of suicide in older people and hope that this very personal, auto/biographical can open a broader conversation on the matter.
This free workshop is an opportunity to gain a practical insight into his making process. You will explore how socially engaged practices and methods can transform familiar and domestic contexts. Â Suitable for anyone interested in creating performance work.
The Midnight Soup will be presented at 13.30 and 20.00 on 28 May.
