Third Person (Redux) is the story of two people hungry for sensation who feast on the excesses of love, sex, French philosophy and donuts.
Using a variety of lo-fi media including video, drawings and slides, Proto-type Theater blur the line between reality and fiction, charting the decay of a relationship that may or may not be between the two performers on stage. This charged and personal story, delivered in the third person, combines original material with borrowed moments from classic cinema, music and literature in an homage to romance.
Proto-type Theater are based in Lancaster and Brooklyn, New York, and make original theatre and media works that tour internationally. Third Person (Redux) is a re-examination of a form first devised and performed by the company in 2005, and premiered at the Brick Theater, Brooklyn NY.
