The Quartetto di Cremona are internationally renowned for their mature and lyrical sound, something which is no doubt in part due to the set of magnificent Cremonese instruments – a combination of old and new masters - which they are privileged to perform on. Their programme contrasts a first half of some of the most charming music ever written in Kreisler’s String Quartet and an early work by the Genoese maestro, Paganini with one of the truly greatest works ever written for the medium, Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden”.
The seating for this performance is 'in-the-round'.
