When the 18-year-old South Korean pianist Sunwook Kim won the Leeds International Piano competition in 2006, joining the likes of Murray Perahia, Radu Lupu and Artur Pizarro, he became the youngest ever player to do so.
He has since carved an enviable reputation for his mature performances of the great composers, and we will enjoy an evening of great pianistic indulgence with him,ending in Beethoven’s monumental Diabelli Variations.
