Join us on Zoom to meet artists exploring how utopias, social and climate issues, imagined places and idealism relate to their practice followed by a live Q+A.
Alison Clough is working on a commission with Lancaster Arts that responds to our recent exhibition ‘On Reflection’ by Alan Dix, in which people contributed memories to a timeline. Using recycled materials, Clough takes a horticultural approach with a gardener’s perspective to explore the ways we perceive memory through time. She was one of the first artists to place primary care health promotion in an imaginative setting, creating artwork on themes such as diabetes and the cardio-vascular and respiratory systems.
