Join us on Zoom (or live - see individual talks for details) to meet artists making exciting work across a range of media who will share their practices. This Tuesday Talk is with Dominique H White who will join us on Zoom (Zoom link will be sent in your confirmation email after booking your free place).
Dominique White’s work explores ideas of Black Subjectivity and Afro-pessimism through nautical myths of the Black diaspora and the destruction and mysticism that hurricanes in the Caribbean leave in their transformative wake. Her sculptures suggest destroyed vessels at sea using sails, tired hand-woven nets, mutilated anchors and deflated nautical buoys.
