The University of Lancaster Music Society returns with its annual Proms extravaganza. The concert will be performed by our seven main ensembles; Symphony Orchestra, Choir, Wind Band, Brass Band, Swing Group, String Orchestra and Big Band, whilst also featuring a selection of small groups. With various styles of music, there’s sure to be something appealing for everyone. Once again, the closure of the concert will feature the Traditionals where we hope everyone will join in singing the traditional British songs! Featuring Choir's performance of 'And the Glory of the Lord' and Swing Group's version of 'Sing, Sing, Sing' before finishing with the traditional patriotic songs such as 'Rule Britannia' and 'Jersulam', it is set to be a night of fantastic varied music not to be missed!
