Art Workshops
Join local emerging artist Kate Ealy, and Fine Art student - Daisy Emery for a series of art workshops throughout the day
Kate Ealy will ask ‘What does water mean to you?’ capturing Museum of Water visitors personal reflections onto canvas - using words and imagery
Daisy Emery uses water as her main subject matter within her practice. Daisy will be running a 'painting with water' workshops suitable for all ages and abilities.
Poetry Workshop
Presented in sync with Live at LICA’s creative writing competition.
During the day there will be a short poetry workshop from emerging poetry writer Eleanor Denvir who’ll ask 'what if..' to inform a new piece of work in response to the museum.
Photography Exhibition
Visitors will be able to view the winning entry from Live at LICA’s recent photography competition about water and browse through all the submitted entries
Artist Talks
1pm - 1.40pm: Photography Competition Discussion curated by Ewa Witaszek, Curator of Dart Creative.
3pm - 3.40pm: Artists talk. Discussion with Kate and Eleanor exploring the relationship of their artistic means with water as a subject matter.
