A day long symposium which explores the practice, influence and prominence of women who work in and have contributed to the field of sound studies. It takes place on the 13th of November 2015 from 10-7, with a concert at 8pm.

The day will include paper presentations, a concert of sound art and electronic music in the evening, curated by Brona Martin and the Octopus Collective. There is also an installation space with featured art works.
